Green Auction (Booth 75, Bidding Ends at 3 pm) click for pdf A large supply of “green” items will be for sale as a silent auction. Come place your bid on items such as mulch, fertilizer, worm bin, wood chips, seeds, plants, tractor work, garden labor, site consultation, farm dwelling plan, emergency food, bed and breakfast stay, dinner for 2, cello and guitar concert, painting, books, a lamb, and more. Keiki Activities
Putting smiles on children’s faces has always been an important part of the Kohala Country Fair. This year the keiki activities area is expanded to include old favorites and new fun and educational experiences for the kids. Many activities have been sponsored by the KCF committee or others to make them Free or more affordable.
- “Pets to Pet”– animal experience includes guinea pigs, rabbits and goats -FREE Sponsored by KCF, Virtue Family, and New Moon Foundation
- “Fun Zone” Carnival Games - $1 per game, everyone wins a prize! Sponsored by KCF and New Moon Foundation
- Hair Painting Station – Try a new look with spray on colors and glitter - $2
- Art Booth – Decorate your own unique canvas tote or lunch bags - $3 Sponsored by KCF and New Moon Foundation
- Outdoor Playground – perfect for children under 7 years old – FREE Sponsored by Kohala Stars Preschool
- “Green Walk”– Learn about taking care of the earth by visiting booths in our green zone and win a prize by completing an answer hunt card. – FREE Sponsored by KCF and New Moon Foundation
- Spam Carving Contest – spam and tool provided, prizes for 3 age categories. Judging at 3pm– FREE Sponsored by KCF
